Actively participates in Plant Design, Launch Reviews and APQP.
Ensures that all customer and Lear requirements are reviewed and incorporated in work instructions, procedures, PFMEA, Control Plan, visual aids and other documents.
Provide process and product standards and control and ensure standardization and integrity.
Ensures that internal critical and significant product and process characteristics and necessary controls are identified.
Establish requirements for Quality records.
Control of Quality records under his or her jurisdiction.
Preparation of Quality Assurance and inspection procedures.
Conducts Quality meeting.
Participates in PFMEA formulation.
Conducts Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
Champions control plan formulation.
Maintenance of generic control plan.
Participates in harness review.
Establish system and standards to be used during certification of E-test boards,pass programs & dimensional boards.
Strengthens process through assembly and process reviews and ensures closed-loop processing of non-conformances and corrective actions.
Ensures proper implementation of PFMEA and Control Plan.
Trend analysis (DPM, Top Defects, PPM, Escapes, Dock Audit results per car line) and ensures that corrective and preventive actions are evaluated and implemented.
Acts as plant liaison with distribution centers, Quality Resident Engineers, PDT Quality and customers in responding and closing of Quality issues.
Ensures that production CMM's, workstations, dimensional boards, E-test board certification are carried out according to standards.
Supervises Quality Auditors (Assembly).
Ensures proper implementation, tracking and closure of all Quality Alerts and Waivers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Minimum 3 years experience in electronics manufacturing
Experience in Quality, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing will be an advantage
Good command of English
Proficiency in computer literacy
Experience in leading high performance teams
Can work under pressure
