Designautomated test scripts that are reusable. Ensure that allautomated testing related activities are carried out as per thestandards defined by the company To read all the documents andunderstand what needs to be tested. Based on the informationprocured in the above step decide how it is to be tested Develop testcases and prioritize testing activities. Execute all the test caseand report defects, define severity and priority for eachdefect. Carry out regression testing every time when changes aremade to the code to fix defects. Designautomated test scripts that are reusable. Ensure that allautomated testing related activities are carried out as per thestandards defined by the company To read all the documents andunderstand what needs to be tested. Based on the informationprocured in the above step decide how it is to be tested. Develop test cases and prioritize testingactivities. Reviews and translates Non Functionalrequirements, specifications and technical design documents toprovide meaningful feedback to product developers Creates,maintains and executes automation test scripts Analyzes automationresults and investigate failures Designs detailed andcomprehensive test plans and test cases Perform regression testingwhen bugs are resolved Identifies KPIs for product quality Tracksquality assurance metrics such as defect densities, defect frequencyfirst time pass rate Keeps up-to-date on latest test software andframeworks Drives software development process to quality-centricmethodologies Identifies Quality Assurance process bottlenecks anddesign and implement solutions Controls, updates and distributesnew and revised quality standards and technical changes Preparesand deliver formal quality audit reports Technical Knowledge andSkills: Knowledge and experienced software qualityassurance Knowledge and experienced writing broad test plans andtest cases Familiarity with black box and white box testingpractices; familiar with technologies such as: JMeter, New Relicand open-source testing frameworks Good knowledge of differenttesting techniques i.e. Load testing, Stress and Automatedtesting Collaborative attitude, willingness to work with teammembers; able to coach, participate in code reviews, share skillsand methods Constantly learns from both success and failure Goodverbal and written communication; effectively articulates technicalvision, possibilities, and outcome
