The Role
As a Quality Assurance Unit Head, you will act as Compliance and Monitoring Officer of Branch Banking Operations Group (BBOG) to ensure BBOG-Head Office Operations Units strict compliance with established policies, internal controls and procedures of the Bank and other regulatory agencies. Identify and implement concrete solutions to productivity and control issues, within a perspective of a balance approach between revenue, productivity/operating efficiency and controls.
You will also coach, train, and mentor BBOG-Head Office Operations personnel to develop/enhance their technical skills and competence to effectively discharge their duties.
How you'll contribute
Ensures service delivery to customers within the following agreed standards: Accuracy, Responsiveness, and Timeliness.
Identifies policies, processes, and procedures for revision/improvement and coordinates with the concerned units for standardization and implementation.
Attends audit exit conferences of BBOG-HO Operations Units meetings to discuss operational matters and other control issues.
Manages cost within the approved operating budget of BBOG.
Reviews Special Operations Report prepared by Quality Assurance Officers.
Prepares Clarificatory Memo for issuance to concerned personnel based on the Special Operations Report released by Quality Assurance Department via e-mail.
Submits risk event, near misses, issues for escalation, fraud incidents (internal/external party), and other operational risk event/issue, regardless of the amount involved via the IE/IR module of the Online ORM Dashboard in e-Source.
Prepares Special Operations Report on the day of detection of fraud/ major violation of policies and procedures for submission to the QA Head and BBOG Head.
Ensures "Acceptable/Satisfactory" audit rating of BBOG-HO

Must have Bachelor's or College degree
