About the role:
Test Management
Preparation & maintenance of Strategy
Client coordination, escalation & reporting
Control Test environments (QA)
Progress tracking and status reporting
Risk Management, escalations and work out mitigation plans.
Analyze and Review Entry and Exit criteria for testing.
Manage Testing activities.
Coordinate Defect management activities.
Coordinate for verification of Test results and sign off.
Preparation of Test Summary report
Test Planning
Analyze Requirements, Functional specifications and raise clarifications to business, if needed.
Prepare test scenarios.
Prepare test scripts.
Prepare test data.
Prepare test execution plan.
Data Preparation
Preparation of test data for the scenarios
Test Execution
Execute test scripts and record results.
Review defect logs & pass logs
Participate in defect meetings and provide appropriate inputs for defect fixes.
Perform defect retests and test impacted regression areas.
Defect Management
Conduct Defect review meetings.
Publish daily defect reports.
Categorize & assign defects to respective teams.
Track defects to closure
Position requirements:
3-5 years of experience in Manual Testing
Banking experience is an advantage but not required
Familiar with quality management software and processes
Knowledge in system analysis and design
Knowledge in basic IT programming languages (background in web programming is an advantage but not required)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical and organized in his/her work style
Able to recognize risk and has the intellectual curiosity to further probe and research
Able to work under pressure and within short time frames.
