The Quality Assurance/Quality Control Analyst
Ensures that the process or set of processes used to measure and assure the quality of a product or service is being complied;
Ensures that the product or service meets the expected output, is delivered within schedule and budget, and is free from defects.
Duties and Responsibilities
A. Quality Assurance
Assist in establishing and maintaining standards, procedures and controls to ensure quality of products and services and relevant documentation.
Assist in monitoring and reviewing execution of processes through quality audits and identify opportunities for continual growth and improvements.
Assist in driving corrective and preventive action activities to investigate, analyze and provide effective solutions to reported non-conformities.
Update the Quality Management System based on the quality objectives.
Ensure project documentations of software development teams comply with the applicable quality standards through document quality inspections.
Assist software development teams on clarifying and tailoring process requirements.
Ensure relevant policies and processes of the Quality Management System are appropriately and consistently communicated to employees.
Perform duties related to risk management and provide guidance on the application of risk management to each business unit.
B. Quality Control
Assist the project teams in ensuring that the products and services will meet its quality goals at the best value and based on customer expectations.
Assist the project teams in ensuring that the quality management processes are being followed in conducting the validation and verification of the product and service.
Translate gathered and analyzed business and technical requirements to complete test scope, strategy, plan, responsibilities, schedule, criteria, test cases and scripts.
Ensure security requirements and controls are incorporated in the products and services being tested.
Facilitate and assist the project teams in preparing the baselined system/software/application, test environment, test tools, test cases, test scripts, and test data and verify the readiness needed for the testing activities.
Perform test activities according to test plan and strategy with required iteration, and participate in the verification and validation of the products and services to be delivered.
Report test results and evidences, prepare test result analysis and provide necessary recommendation.
Prepare and monitor progress of the testing activities and follow-up and escalate issues to all concerned parties.
Actively participate in the status meeting to communicate progress and escalate risks and roadblocks.
Prepare training materials and provide assistance in conducting the training to users or other members of the team.
Responsible for the information security within the company by protecting confidential information from unauthorized access, ensuring the integrity of the information and information system, taking appropriate measures to manage security risks and following and complying with the laws, legislations and terms of contracts.
Perform other duties as assigned, if necessary.
Minimum Education
Graduate of Computer Science or equivalent
Minimum Experience/Training
With 2 to 3 years relevant experience in quality assurance and quality control (testing) for software development and hardware implementation
Familiarity, knowledge and some experience with the following is an advantage:
Automated Test Tools
Performance Testing Tools
Relational Database (RDBMS)
Basic to advance SQL commands
Incident or defect tracking
Competency
Analytical, result-oriented, team player, fast learner and dynamic
Can work with minimum supervision
Effective communication skills
Working knowledge in information security and data protection
Ability to design, test and report the required security controls
Thorough; demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy
Defines and organizes tasks, responsibilities, and priorities
Takes responsibility for timely completion of work
Passion to acquire and update skills and the ability to learn new tools and techniques quickly
A history of handling and supporting successful projects
Working Conditions
Can handle multiple assignments/projects
Must be willing to work on-call and on extended hours
Associate / Supervisor IT and Software Information Technology / IT 1 opening Bachelor's degree graduate
