Perform a variety of tests, such as regression, integration, platform, and performance testing to confirm the stability of software systems.
Identify, verify and validate required tests, and report defects.
Monitor and follow-up status of reported defects until its closure.
Create detailed or comprehensive test scenarios or test cases.
Replicate production/site-reported errors or issues in test environments.
Log project related issues in the defect tracking tool identified for the project.
Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements.
Mentors Junior Quality Assurance Engineers and provide proper coaching.
Reports execution progress on a daily basis to the Senior QA Engineer or QA Team Lead.
Escalate application issues to Senior QA Engineer/QA Team Lead or those that are related to incompatibility, reliability and functionality.
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related course.
With at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
Knowledgeable of software QA methodologies, fundamentals, tools and processes
Able to deliver medium complexity tasks with ease
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have an eye for detail, analytical and good problem-solving skills
Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
