Primary Responsibilities:
Process the issuance of Maintenance Authorization to personnel of Contracted Maintenance / Service Providers.
Prepare report of reportable occurrences to appropriate Aviation Authority, e.g. Flight Safety Service Difficulty Report (FSSDR).
Conduct investigation on occurrences of mechanical irregularities or incidents/accidents pertaining to CEB fleets and its associated equipment to prevent recurrence of such incident.
Evaluate the technical capabilities of local and foreign repair stations, ground handler and the personnel who intends to do maintenance works to CEB fleet; and recommends issuance of QA Maintenance Release Authorization if found qualified.
Evaluate the application for Minimum Equipment List (MEL) extension and Short Term Escalation (STE) request.
Coordinate on the corrective actions or plans on noted discrepancies during the Aircraft Lessor and/or Aviation Authority maintenance assessment and audit.
Review input regarding changes or updates in regulatory requirements in the maintenance policies and procedures that affect the CEB MCM and other related manuals.
Responsible in conducting initial evaluation/audit to a prospective Line/Base/Engine Maintenance Service Provider.
Conduct Audit on CEB Contracted Maintenance/Service Providers as assigned in the Annual Audit and/or Surveillance Plan or as assigned by QA - Maintenance Director
Basic Qualifications:
Must be a college graduate of any course.
Any training/certification in any of the following is an advantage:
o Internal Quality Audit o IOSA Airline Auditor Course
o Quality Management System o Documentation
o Safety Management System o Philippine Civil Aviation Regulations Awareness
o Aviation Security Awareness o Human Factors Training o Maintenance Control Manual Indoctrination.
