Qualifications:
5yrs relevant software quality assurance experience
Work experience in software development lifecycle
Work experience in software quality assurance
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (open source)
Knowledge of SQL and scripting
Knowledge on Unix commands
Knowledge of Java Programing and proven work experience on Java Coding for automation
Experience working in an Agile development process
Experience with performance testing and/or security testing
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related course
Responsibilities:
Liaise with internal teams like developers and product manager to identify system requirements and timelines
Review of requirements, specifications and technical design documents on assigned projects
Able to create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases and also to do estimate, prioritization, plan and coordination on all testing activities
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
Able to track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts and obtain database of known test defects
Able to do deep test analysis to meet the product quality on assigned domains and all across systems
Improves and promotes team members testing skills
Able to suggest and contributes improvements on test efficiency and quality inline with test processes, tools and test implementations
Able to initially investigates logs of testing results, issues and make some troubleshooting conclusions
Able to provide support and documentation
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
