What we are looking for:
We are looking for a QA Lead to work collaboratively with other groups to ensure the quality of our software is at a high standard prior to release. You will lead a large QA team focusing on manual and automation testing. You'll perform a variety of tests such as functional, regression, integration, and end to end testing to confirm the stability of our systems. We work collaboratively in a agile way so some experience working in an agile environment would be highly regarded. Some leadership experience managing QA teams is mandatory to be successful in this role.
This permanent position will be based in our Ortigas office. We are currently working in hybrid (WFH/ office) environment.
Responsibilities will include:
Leading and mentoring a QA team.
Estimation of QA work accross our various products and allocation of work to the QA team.
Write and execute test cases.
Report bugs to development team.
Evaluate test result and document defects.
Test new and existing features.
Assist the development team in replicating reported issues.
To be successful for this role the following skills and experience is required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
With strong leadership experience to guide and navigate the success of the team.
Familiar with quality assurance and skilled in finding bugs.
Solid understanding of agile development.
Experience in testing web and mobile applications.
Able to write detailed test scenarios and test cases.
Able to write SQL queries.
Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
Preferably with experience not just in manual but also in automation testing
Experienced using Selenium C#, Postman, Appium and other testing tools.
Excellent communication skills is required.
