JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
The Automotive Quality Assurance Engineer shall initiate, support, facilitate and monitor compliance automotive activities in accordance with IATF 16949 industry standard.
The activities include creating procedures and processes required for automotive certification, training, external audit certification and managing post certification activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops internal factory procedures required for Automotive IATF 16949 certification;
Prepares company/factory for IATF 16949 certification;
Works with external auditor and complete IATF 16949 certification audit;
Ensures and monitors compliance of IATF 16949 post certification activities;
Supports green automotive product introductions;
Establishes and monitors factory quality; reports factory quality performance on a periodic basis;
Reviews, monitors and approves changes to current factory manufacturing processes;
Provide end customer notifications/notices of changes whenever practicable;
Initiates and supports creation of qualification plans to certify/approve new engineering processes and process engineering changes;
Initiates and conduct internal audits; supports during the conduct of external audit;
Acts as the leader to assure applicable company/factory's organization on internal quality standards;
Assists in handling / negotiating of customers' returned materials;
Leads and participates in "failure analysis activities" with respect to automotive products;
Uses statistical process control & analysis techniques for problem solving and data reporting;
And other lawful tasks related to IATF Quality Assurance that may be assigned by immediate superior and management;
JOB QUALIFICATION:
BS Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Communication Engineering or similar technical discipline;
Skills Required:
Proficient Knowledge in IATF 16949, TS16949, ISO, Automotive, Manufacturing; Automotive Quality Assurance Engineer - IATF 16949, TS16949; ISO Automotive Quality Assurance Engineer - IATF 16949, TS16949;
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Quality, Quality Engineering, and/or IC Assembly Engineering in Electronics Manufacturing Services and/or Plastic Injection Molding Companies;
Minimum of 2 years of Automotive Quality System experience (TS 16949, IATF 16949);
Strong analytical skills with experience in aspects of semiconductor component manufacturing, electronics manufacturing and plastic injection molding setting.
