What you'll do:
Perform testing/automation within the ServiceNow platform
Integrate, maintain, develop, and execute ServiceNow Test Management application and ServiceNow Automation Test Framework application
Develop, maintain, and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases and automate them.
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
Perform functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing on requests and incidents.
Test defects and enhancements moving them to close/complete.
Communicate with Service owners and developing team on enhancements and defects.
Work with developers to design specific testing strategies for features being developed and automate them.
Developed and executed test scripts using automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, SoapUI Pro.
Generate periodic test reports for management review.
Analyzed automation test results.
Collect and report quality metrics from test execution.
Support engineering organizations in troubleshooting or addressing issues with applications and dev/test environments.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
What you'll need to join:
Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or demonstrated performance in a technical work environment.
2-3 years' experience implementing, executing, and testing ServiceNow applications.
Experienced with ServiceNow ITSM and ITBM suite of applications.
Should have at least basic understanding of ITIL. ITIL certified is a plus.
Experienced with automation tools is a plus, i.e. Selenium, SoapUI Pro, Unified Functional Testing (UFT) to perform automated testing in different application types and protocols like web applications and databases
Strong knowledge and experience in all the phases of SDLC
Should have good understanding of the Testing concepts such as smoke testing, regression testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, verification, severity, priority, validation, test plan and test case creation.
Good knowledge in various software development practices Agile, Waterfall etc.
Should have knowledge to at least one or more Bug tracking tools for e.g. Bugzilla, Jira, Issue Tracker etc.
Ability to use tools (such as IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools) to assist with daily tasks.
SQL knowledge and ability to execute basic queries a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
Ability to effectively communicate, present and articulate strategies across various audiences; sales, marketing, partners, clients, consultants, executive leaders (internal and external)
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize, plan and execute a goal.
Must be willing to work night shift schedule.
