Job Description
About the role:
This position is onsite and nightshift responsible for all aspects of the test cycle including, but not limited to, the design and creation of test cases, design and implementation of manual and automated tests, executing test scripts as well as the proper documentation of defects. This position requires expertise with a variety of testing techniques such as exploratory testing, white/black box, etc. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and must have experience in software testing using Agile Scrum methodology.
Position requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 1 to 3years of experience in a QA or testing environment.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
Demonstrated ability to develop test strategies, software QA test plans and detailed test cases.
Experience testing following Agile Scrum Methodology.
Experience following all aspects of the SDLC.
Demonstrable understanding of how to create functional automated tests.
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and integrate new technologies for the purposes of testing.
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Java, JMeter, Postman, or others
Experience writing complex SQL queries.
Experience performing end to end testing, including regression.
Should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Self-motivated with a desire to learn.
Demonstrated analytical ability to solve complex technical problems.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (both oral and written).
Experience in coordinating simultaneous assignments by assessing project deadlines, establishing work priorities, and coordinating personal work schedules.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
