Quality Assurance Engineer - mid/senior levelXLD Finance

The QA Engineer validates and checks the overall integrity level of the application and eco-systems of XLD. Based on the specifications provided by business, the QA Engineer performs a thorough analysis and checks by means of testing every aspect of the application or features that are being introduced as part of the fix or change to the application. The testing should have a focus on the precision, security, logical correctness, regulatory, contextual and visual. Reports to the QA Lead or Project Head
Responsibilities
Create and maintain test cases to be used for quality assurance testing
Develop test plans and schedules to qualify feature changes & fixes
Perform thorough quality assurance testing activities to identify issues
Perform analysis on identified issues and wherever possible, identify the root cause
Perform testing with high precision and thoroughness
Coordinate with both Frontend and Backend developers during testing
Be skillful in automating the testing of products and services
Assist in developing the quality assurance documentation
Promptly work on designated shift or adjusted weekends as allocated by your manager
Communicate well with other team members in English
Maintain cordial attitude in dealing and coordinating with other team members
Perform relevant tasks as required by your manager
Attend daily scheduled standup meetings

Deliver business requirements with high precision and in timely manner
Be responsive whenever there are urgencies and crisis situations
Provide assistance to new colleagues or trainees
Ensure confidentiality and security of company information and intellectual property
Punctuality and timeliness on office proceedings and meetings
Requirements
Working knowledge of testing tools like selenium, rationale preferred but not required
Working knowledge and experience of postman and JSON preferred
Able to document test plans and test results as required by the prioject
Automation scripting for Javascript, Typescript preferred but not required
