Toyota Motor Philippines is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Vehicle Logistics Department based in Santa Rosa City, Laguna, Philippines.
The Quality Assurance Engineer is a member of the Quality Team that is responsible for ensuring products in storage are at their best quality, conducting regular vehicle and yard maintenance, investigating and resolving quality issues and evaluating logistics-related insurance claims.
In this role, you are expected to be a domain expert in Quality Management System, QA testing tools and operations engineering.
Your role and responsibilities:
Preparing plans to identify, manage and achieve Quality KPIs and targets.
Executing quality improvement testing and activities.
Creating reports documenting errors and issues for resolution.
Communicating & collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on detection, resolution and prevention of issues.
Conducting countermeasure trials in coordination with vehicle maintenance team.
Conducting investigation, rootcause analysis and identifying countermeasures while optimizing company's resources.
Initiating activities to meet standards and continuously improving set standards to ensure that customer expectations and demands are met.
Our perfect match:
You must be at least a bachelor's degree graduate of Mechanical, Automotive or Chemical Engineering with specialization in quality assurance or quality engineering.
You have at least one (1) year experience as a quality assurance engineer.
You have high quality mindset and customer focus.
You are capable of accomplishing tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how small; showing concern for all aspects of the job; accurately checking processes and tasks; being watchful over a period of time.
You are capable of identifying and understanding issues, problems, and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions; using effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; taking action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences.

Willing to work in Santa Rosa, Laguna with weekly site visits to Batangas Vehicle Center.
