The company is seeking an experienced QA Engineer with extensive experience in working on complex, large-scale projects. We are looking for a passionate self-starter with excellent communication and analytical skills, and possesses a strong commitment to deliver bug-free solutions according to stipulated deadlines.
Responsibilities
Develop, document and be responsible for the QA processes
Establish metrics, apply industry best practices and develop new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met
Work with various stakeholders to develop and maintain the necessary test documents (Test Plans and Test Cases) for new and existing features
Perform testing at different parts of the development life cycle (Unit, Integration, Regression, Functional, Performance, User Acceptance, etc.)
Ensure tests done provide appropriate coverage of the product
Diagnose defects, log them in GitLab and track them from discovery to resolution
Regularly report on test results and progress to the appropriate audience
Provide support for UAT and production rollouts on an as-needed basis
Serve as L2 Production support when necessary
Basic Qualifications
At least 3-5 years of quality assurance/testing and related experience
Candidates with more experience and skills/qualifications may be considered for a more senior role
Agile experience is a must
Hands-on experience with QA automation tools and frameworks is a strong advantage
Experience with mobile, responsive and cross-platform applications is a strong advantage
Experience with large scale projects throughout the full life cycle is an advantage
Experience with enterprise-level software is an advantage
Experience with UI-intensive applications across devices is an advantage
Startup experience preferred
Familiarity with QA tools, methodologies, and best practices
Proven ability to multi-task and manage various projects simultaneously
Excellent analytical skills, well-organized and with a keen eye for detail
Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal & written) and conflict resolution skills
