POSITION SUMMARY
The Corporate Quality Assurance Auditor will conduct audits and develop audit system improvements that ensures the URC manufacturing plants and its suppliers' systems, processes, goods and services output complies with the requirements of quality and food safety standards (such as but not limited to ISO 9001, GMP or PRPs, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000), as well as customer, regulatory, and URC's internal requirements.
What are the responsibilities?
1. Evaluate the manufacturing plants and suppliers' compliance to quality and food safety system and process requirements
2. Lead and/or assist in the development of audit plans and management of audit schedules
3. Conduct quality and food safety audits (and lead a team of quality auditors, when needed)
4. Identify processes, situations, etc., where organization is meeting requirements, as well as recommend opportunities for improvement
5. Generate audit reports and presents to management committee of an organization
6. Conduct follow through and thorough review of corrective action plans and do follow-up or validation audits (as required)
7. Develop standards, parameters, and special projects relevant to auditing quality and food safety systems (such as but not limited to Supplier or Vendor Management Program
What are the qualifications?
1. Must have work experience in a food industry covering Quality Assurance and Audit Activities
2. Must have the knowledge and experience on auditing using GMP, HACCP, QMS (ISO 9001), FSMS (ISO 22000), FSSC 22000 standards
3. Detail-oriented with strong communication and active listening skills
4. Self-motivated and a team player
