Senior Quality Assurance
Title
Location: BGC, Taguig Philippines
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
The senior QA is responsible for ensuring that products and services meet the established standards . Duties include creating and maintaining test plan, performs test execution, reports errors, provides feedback on product quality and submits regular status reports and performs duties related to test environment maintenance.
What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications:
❑ Bachelor's degree in any IT related course
❑ Analyze requirements of software changes or feature enhancements.
❑ Map out test scenarios against user requirements to create effective test plans
❑ Collaborate with business analysts, QAs and developers to review, modify and sign off test plans to ensure 100% test coverage
❑ Write test cases , execute the tests, provide feedback on the testing effort and submit regular test reports
❑ Perform different testing methodologies including, but not limited to, feature testing, regression testing, installation testing
❑ Perform test environment updates and maintenance activities
❑ Provides testing estimates and adjusts work based on project priorities
❑ Analyzes, conceptualizes, plans and implements process improvement initiatives to improve overall quality of product deliveries
❑ Has demonstrated leadership skills in leading a project, accomplishing testing goals and/or managing of team members
❑ Must be self-driven, a team player, has good analytical and critical thinking, ready to provide assistance or training to those who need it
❑ Must be able to lead testing activities and submit timely status reports
❑ Has demonstrated leadership skills in leading a project and/or team members
❑ Working experience using any defect tracking tool, such as Jira is a plus
❑ Working experience in Functional Test Automation tools
❑ Working experience in an Agile environment is preferred
❑ Bachelor's degree in any IT related course
❑ Knowledge of quality assurance terminologies, methods, and tools
❑ Can perform basic scripting exercises using any programming languages such as Java, C#, Visual Basic, etc
❑ Knowledgeable with Object Oriented Programming
❑ Working Experience in any functional automation tools , such as Selenium, UFT, TestComplete, TOSCA
❑ Knowledgeable in service level testing and tools such as ReadyAPI, Postman, REST Assured ❑ Expertise in database management and queries using Oracle and SQL
❑ Working experience in Azure DevOps, Git Repository, Visual Studio is a plus
❑ Highly analytical, self-motivated, driven to continuously improve knowledge, result-driven, innovative, smart-worker
❑ Has working experience automating functional tests for web and mobile applications
