A Day in The Life Typically Includes: The Quality Assurance Senior plans, supervises, reviews, and improves automated and manual testing activities in an agile work environment to ensure that developed products meet quality requirements. The Quality A Day in The Life Typically Includes: The Quality Assurance Senior plans, supervises, reviews, and improves automated and manual testing activities in an agile work environment to ensure that developed products meet quality requirements. The Quality Assurance Senior processes, product features, automation scripts, test cases, performance or load tests, and past product defects to identify improvement opportunities. The QA Senior should perform complex manual tests and can write automation test scripts. The position is also involved in writing, reviewing and improving product and quality assurance documentation. Work as part of a functional development scrum team to gather test requirements and create detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases Execute functional tests and thorough regression testing prior product release to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs. Identify, record and document product defects/bugs and help towards achieving its resolution Design, develop and execute automated test scripts, and provide timely feedback of test results Design and contribute to testing automation frameworks / libraries in a reusable manner so automated test can be extended easily What You Will Need: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Proven work experience in software quality assurance (minimum 8 years) Demonstrated ability to independently develop and execute comprehensive, technical test plans. Ability to maintain high quality standards in writing and executing test cases, bug reporting and verification. Strong knowledge of industry-standard QA methodologies, tools, databases and operating systems. Attention to detail, analytical, multi-tasking and organization skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with developers, business analysts and system administrators. Ability to analyze and understand requirements, accurately estimate task durations and meet schedules. Ability and willingness to train other analysts in best QA practices and procedures Strong experience in ERP applications domain. Strong experience in software development processes, models, lifecycles and methodologies Knowledge of performance testing of applications. Helps to mentor less experienced employees in addition to fostering teamwork Proficient in English language What Will Put You Ahead? Preferred Qualifications: Proven work experience in software quality assurance (minimum 8 years) Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes Experience with testing solutions deployed on cloud (AWS / GCP / Azure) Prior experience writing automated scripts. Experience writing selenium scripts/familiarity with Java a plus Prior experience with mobile, API/Webservices, security, and/or performance testing a plus Familiarity working with different types of OS (Windows, Linux) and third-party technologies (SQL/Databases, Application Servers) Ability to work in a geographically distributed team across limited overlap time zones Excellent oral and written communication / design / documentation skills
