SANTOS LAND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION is looking for a QC MECHANICAL ENGINEER.
 
Job Summary: Ensures mechanical products and projects meet quality standards by implementing inspection processes, analyzing data, and conducting tests on components and systems. Also includes developing quality protocols, performing root cause analysis for defects, maintaining documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating with design and production teams to improve overall product quality. 
Analyze specifications and manuals and provide technical information to implement operating procedures, clarify ambiguities and solve problems
Specify system components to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications
Respond to emergencies and take remedial action as required to ensure health, safety and the environment are protected
Undertake team briefings and inception activities to ensure all aspects of work are understood by all concerned parties
Attend regular meetings with clients, architects and consultants and update all parties on project progress
Organize above/underground piping activities.
Prepare and conduct Installation Inspection and Testing Inspection such as Hydro test, Leak test, Flow test and Smoke test etc. as per QC requirements.
Prepare technical reports such as Site Observation Notice (SON) and Non-Compliance Notifications (NCN) for Mechanical, Fire-protection, Ventilation, Plumbing and Sanitary Activities.
Ensure the quality of installation was based on the approve method statement/methodology.
Supervise field inspection activities of manufacturing site construction, welding, NDT examinations and pressure testing and prepare daily inspection reports.
Identify quality problems or areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
Attend weekly staff and monthly division meetings.
Prepare weekly accomplishment report.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
 
A. Education:
Must be a graduate of bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Must be a Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and principles of quality assurance.
B. Experience & Competencies:
With at least two (2) years of experience as a QC Mechanical Engineer.
Proficiency in engineering drawings, AutoCAD, and relevant QA software tools.
Ability transcribe and proofread written materials with a high degree of accuracy and a minimum supervision.
With excellent interpersonal, communication and reporting skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high quality standards.
