SANTOS LAND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION is looking for a QC ENGINEER:
 
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring that all construction activities, materials, and workmanship meet specified quality standards and comply with applicable codes, regulations, and project specifications. They play a critical role in preventing defects, reducing rework, and maintaining the overall quality of a project from start to finish. 
Implement and monitor the project's Quality Control Plan.
Ensure that construction works are executed in compliance with project specifications, drawings, standards, and quality requirements.
Inspect and verify materials, equipment, and workmanship at various stages of the project.
Conduct routine and scheduled inspections of civil works.
Prepare and review inspection and test plans (ITPs) and ensure their proper implementation.
Maintain proper documentation of inspections, test results, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective actions.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly QC reports.
Track and maintain quality records for audits and project closeout.
Identify non-conformances and initiate corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with construction teams to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with corrective actions.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure quality standards are integrated into all site activities.
Conduct internal quality audits and site walkdowns to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Participate in joint inspections with consultants or clients.
Support the project team with training related to quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
Promote a quality-focused culture on-site.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Must be a graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering;
Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer;
Must have knowledge on Construction Management;
Must have knowledge on local building codes, regulations, and construction standards;
With at least 2-5+ years of experience in a similar QC role in the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
Thorough knowledge of quality control procedures and construction standards.
Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
