JOB DESCRIPTION
• Strictly implement MDC Quality Management System Policy, Process, Procedures, Guidelines and Bulletins.
• Reports administratively to Project In Charge and functionally to QA/QC Supervisor or QA/QC Officer all activities related to Quality.
• Monitors the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system, recommends any improvements when required.
Reviews and checks all drawings, specifications and submittals are approved and signed construction drawing before being used at project site
Assists and reviews in the preparation of Method Statement and Inspection & Test Plan based on contract requirement.
Ensures implementation of the
Work Activity Training (WAT)
Conducts quality control inspection to all incoming/delivered materials and equipment on-site based on plans, specification and approved RFA's following the AQL Process.
• Conducts in-progress inspection and pre-functional test on site. Hold- Point Release of inspections via Work Activity Permit (WAP).
• Verifies the quality and workmanship of every activity, working knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to Civil, Structural, Architectural & MEPFS discipline and interfacing the multidisciplinary operations.
• Inspects in controlled manner with due consideration of:
o Use of the approved work method statement.
o Use of suitable equipment and working environment.
o Compliance with reference standard/codes, procedure, quality plan and project specification.
• Ensures that all inspection, measuring and testing equipment are calibrated and properly in working condition.
• Analyzes test results and make necessary recommendations.
Initiates the issuance and validate close-out of
Non-Conformance Reports and Work Suspension Notice (WSN) as necessary. Reports, documents and tracks any discrepancies noted for resolution and corrective action.
Review QAQC Report (FCO, ZPL, NCR, PIR-WIR) and submit to QAQC Officer.
• Attends and participate on required trainings and roll out by SQTO.
• Precide weekly quality meeting with subcons/operation.
• Performs Progress Inspection Report and Work Inspection Report of deliverables with the operations team and subcontractor.
• Monitors the status of punch list and ensures closed-out prior to SBU/APMC turnover inspection.
• Performs all acceptance inspections, examinations and test. Witnesses and verifies inspections and test performed by others and ensuring that these are in accordance with establish requirements and criteria.
• Ensures the quality records, acceptance certificates, mechanical completion certificates and the documentation for specific systems and buildings/areas are prepared and collated by the project document controller in accordance with project requirements.
• Conducts Quarterly QAQC Vendor Performance Reviews.
• Implements MDC QAQC Bulletins, Method Statements, Standards & Procedures and methods for inspection and testing.
• Checking with the Project In-Charge for the completion of project closed-out documents.
• Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
• Utilizes and ensure completeness of pro-core management system reports.
• Participate in QES MS Internal Audit if necessary.
• Implements Quality Programs and conduct rollout if necessary.
