Job Description
● Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our digital solutions in the Product Development Team
● Apply agile test methodologies to ensure we deliver a quality products
● Support the definition of the overall test strategy, including automation approach, exploratory, UI, integration, and acceptance testing
● Understand user stories and work with the team to define the acceptance criteria and the definition of done.
● Participate in the detailed risk analysis of user stories
● Design and execute test cases / scripts and log defects in Jira as necessary
● Work with product owners and collaborate with developers on the team to actively acquire information
● Implement and execute triage processes, issue management and resolution processes
● Identify and remove manual repetitive tasks from testing through automation
Attend daily stand-ups to be fully informed about the project's work and progress, articulating any testing blockers so that these can resolved as quickly as feasible
Qualifications
ISTQB Certified preferable but not essential
3+ years of experience designing and executing testing, software testing, agile test methodologies
Demonstrated experience in agile software testing
Test automation experience in Selenium or other similar frameworks
Strong analytical and reasoning skills with an ability to visualise processes and outcomes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
Good understanding of Agile & Lean delivery principles.
Strong domain knowledge in web and mobile development
A passion for solving problems and providing workable solutions
A desire to learn and continuously improve
Takes responsibility for their own actions
Works well with a team on common goals
