Job Description
Reporting directly to the Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the established standards set by the company.
This role requires someone who can work positively with all stakeholders, meet deadlines, and manage schedules. You will be the primary tester in the team. You will establish, use, and monitor test automation.
As an Agile tester, rather than finding bugs at the end of the cycle, you will be searching for them and eliminating them all along the way to assure the quality of products and timely. You will begin functional and integration tests as soon as the developers have completed their tasks and report bugs as soon as they appear. You will re-test functionality following the release of fixes, with the aim to build-up a regression test suite.
You will be working without technical oversight and collaborating with a team of specialists, being the voice of quality for the Product Development team to ensure the team delivers high quality secure products.
You will be involved in the design of the software by working closely with developers to assess and advise on testability aspects. You will also be looking at concerns such as whether software testing can be automated, whether components can be tested independently from the rest of the software.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience designing and executing testing, software testing, agile test methodologies
Demonstrated experience in agile software testing
Test automation experience in Selenium or other similar frameworks
Strong analytical and reasoning skills with an ability to visualize processes and outcomes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
Good understanding of Agile & Lean delivery principles.
Strong domain knowledge in web and mobile development
A passion for solving problems and providing workable solutions
A desire to learn and continuously improve
Takes responsibility for their own actions
Works well with a team on common goals
ISTQB Certified preferable but not essential
