Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain comprehensive Test Framework and Test Plans
• Develop and maintain detailed Test Cases
• Execution of manual Test Cases
• Creation and execution of Automated Tests using Selenium, TestNG, and Java
• Perform in functional, integration and acceptance/workflow testing
• Document test results
• Defect creation and tracking
• Works closely with development teams
• Ability to identify and escalate releases in jeopardy
• Ability to understand user stories and turn them into testable scenarios
• Analyze test results to determine if requirements have been met
• Conduct peer reviews of test plans and test cases
• Promote existing SDLC process, procedures and/or methodologies
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's / College Degree in Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication), Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
• Possess at least 2-3 years of experience in software testing
• Strong skills in designing, implementing test cases, cycles and plans
• Must have had experience working in a test engineer role in a medium to large-scale software project
• Experience in any programming language is a big plus
• Familiarity with unit, integration and other automated tests
• Excellent oral and written communication skills together with demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring skills.
• Extensive test and troubleshooting experience in a test environment with a demonstrated understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a changing environment
• Experience building Automated Testing frameworks with Selenium, preferably with Java, NUnit and TestNG - a plus
• Project Management skills a plus
• Familiarity with JIRA is a plus
• Ability to work with distributed teams in a fast-paced iterative development process
• Self-starter with the ability to prioritize many projects and problems independently, as they arise
• Excellent oral and written communication skills a must
• Must be a team player
• Must possess a good working attitude
• Professional certification(s) a plus
