Job Description:
Reports directly to Operations Director and is responsible for planning and managing the activities of the Quality Control Inspectors.
Develops quality control procedures/ specifications/ criteria in collaboration with the customers in order to meet the quality requirements of their product.
Trains new personnel with regards to Quality requirements of each process for Tape and Reel and other services that the Contract Manufacturing provides (Inspection, De-taping, manual loading, etc.).
Monitors the quality of outgoing products and immediately notifies/ seek disposition from the customer for any discrepant lot.
Monitors the quality of outgoing products and ensure that any discrepant lot is trapped internally and does not reach the customer.
Highlights to Production/ Equipment/Process teams any defect seen at outgoing inspection for immediate action.
Coordinates with the Quality Assurance personnel of the customer in case of lot rejection at the customer incoming and leads the DTPC Manufacturing team in analyzing the failure and formulation of 8D.
Conducts quality audit to ensure that the quality requirements/ 8D improvement actions are being implemented as committed.
Reports the quality performance of Contract Manufacturing operations.
Acts as a focal person to conduct issuance, validation and verification of effectiveness of the Corrective Action Report.
Creates, implements and adheres to the code of discipline set for and as compliance to EICC/RBA.
Performs other duties that maybe assigned as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Must possess at least a Bachelor's/ College Degree in Engineering, preferably, Industrial or at least 2 years of experience as Quality Assurance Engineer.
Has at least 1 year of experience as Quality Assurance Engineer in a semi- conductor/ Electronics company
Experience:
