Job Description
Setting up, implementing and managing the local quality management system as well as monitorung its efficiency and effectiveness. Efficiencey and effectivenes are to be understood in terms of conformance with internal and external requirements. Responsible for implementeing SGS Group Quality Management requirements to the local laboratory (-ies). The role requires in depth knowledge of ISO 17025 and its implementation in food testing laboratories.
Qualifications
Degree in a relevant scientifc discipline with a significant element of any chemistry, microbiology, biology.
At least 3 years of quality management, preferably in food in food testing laboratories accredited under ISO17025
Knowledge and practical experience of food analysis.
Trained as internal auditoir is preferred.
Good knowlegde of the criteria and (inter) national quality management standards.
Computer literate (MS Office, statistical packages)
Good knowledge of English, spoken and in writing.
Preferably understand the SGS Organization.
The role may involve in travelling to other SGS Siste or customer locations
Additional Information
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to effectively interact with all levels of organization
Knowledgeable in MS Office particularly in Word, Excel and Outlook Express
