WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a QA Engineer I, the successful candidate is action oriented and full of energy for the things he/she sees as challenging; not fearful of acting with a minimum of planning; seizes more opportunities than others. He/she accomplishes tasks by considering all areas involved, shows concern for all aspects of the job, no matter how small, accurately checks processes and tasks, and assumes responsibility for high standards of performance and excellence.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with product owners, engineers, and team members to identify areas and methods to help improve testing efficiency, expand coverage and increase product reliability
Design, write, and maintain automated test scripts using best practices and industry standards, as well as perform manual testing
Write and execute automated test suites and actively communicate test status, including risks, issues, defects, and potential impacts
Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software and Perform setup and admin of tools used by the testing team
Collaborate with other team members to resolve any issues & ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Bachelor or Master's degree in computer science or a related technical field and 1 year in Software Quality Assurance.
1+ years' hands on experience in development, execution and maintenance of automated test scripts
Experience API testing, some coding experience, experience with mobile automation tools
