What the role is about
We are looking for an Automation Engineer to join our growing engineering team in our Manila office. You will be working with our team in NYC.
The candidate should be able to develop and execute automation test cases from start to finish, maintain documentation of results and work closely with development team to resolve discrepancies. A successful candidate must have a passion for technology, be a problem solver, and have a desire to improve our software's usability and functionality. We are a small and growing agile team and you will play a key role with a lot of responsibilities, so we need folks who are strong independent thinkers, self-motivated, and highly communicative.

Our Network/VoIP Stacks: Asterisk VoIP servers, Cisco phones and switches, Ubiquiti routers

Requirements
What you will bring
We're looking for engineers with the following criteria:
● A passion for working in small agile teams (Scrum)
● A desire to write scalable, efficient, maintainable code
● Log, manage, and retest defects in a bug tracking system
● Work with developers to provide additional research and debugging of issues to resolve problems
● Exceptional problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for tackling diverse development challenges
● Self-learner, independent, and have outstanding problem-solving skills
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Must be able to work with eastern time hours
What you have
To be considered seriously, you will have:
● 5+ years of hands-on automation experience with Selenium
● Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills
● Experience working with test frameworks such as Karma, Jasmine, Mocha, and Chai
● Experience testing complex web applications and RESTful APIs
● Experience with automation frameworks Cucumber & Selenium WebDriver
● Proficient with Java and scripting languages such as JavaScript and Python
● Knowledge of SoapUI and/or JMeter for testing services is a plus
● Experience executing tests through CI delivery pipelines such as Jenkins
● Experience working with Git distributed source code
● Desire to keep up with the latest test technologies
