Job Description
Convert manual test steps into repeatable automated tests for regression and smoke testing
Build and maintain the Agile test automation strategy
Set up and maintain test automation and execution framework
Innovate and maintain automation tools that can be used to effectively manage the manual testing effort
Contribute to continuous improvement of software quality assurance automation processes and resources
Collaborate with development and QA to resolve automation defects
Perform duties and responsibilities of a manual QA analyst if needed
Qualifications
Proven work experience in a software test automation or software development role
Demonstrate a strong understanding of testing web applications for both desktop and mobile environments
Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools and approaches
Experience in writing manual test cases and converting those to automated tests
Deep understanding of agile software development practices
Team player with excellent organization and communication skills and highly collaborative
Manage time effectively by placing the right focus on value added operations
Willingness to perform the duties and responsibilities of a manual QA analyst depending on the needs of the assigned project

Automation testing

With previous programming experience is preferred

Gain satisfactory performance feedback and confidence level from QA, developers and product owners
Create strong and value-added test suite for the assigned team
Develop relevant test-related documents
Training Process
Staff will undergo the onboarding process such as current QA processes on test case creation, test execution, bug logging, agile practices, test case management tool, etc. Staff will undergo product knowledge training and will be given some hands on exercises.
At the end of the onboarding, the staff will be requested to demo what she learned during the onboarding period.
