- Knowledge of the principles, methods, and legal requirements of purchasing as they relate to competitive bidding, vendor selection, and the placement of purchase orders for supplies, materials, services, and equipment.
- Coordinates with all department concerned on the matter of the latter's requisitions in order to ensure that the canvassed and bought items are indeed the ones specified on the approved requisition slips.
- Ensures that the purchasing team is adequately staffed with clear delineation of responsibilities in order to carry out the functions of the department efficiently and effectively.

- Coordinate with Warehouse / Inventory Control, Quality Assurance, and other Material personnel to resolve key issues, including rejected / discrepant materials.
- Responsible for the selection of suppliers based on performance criteria, such as price, delivery, and quality of seaweeds, better payment terms.
- Responsible for the development of personnel, providing advice, coaching, and mentoring to ensure objectives are reached; training for end-users pertaining to requisitioning and other purchasing activities.
- Willing to work in Parañaque City
Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration or its equivalent, with 5 years of full-time purchasing experience, including supplier negotiations, purchasing controls, and management.
With knowledge in Purchasing functions, standards, policies;
Familiar with Sourcing strategies;
With High negotiating skills;
Strong analytical and planning skills;
Good communication and presentation skills;
Excellent problem-solving skills;
Preferrably with Good Decision making skills;
Preferrably with knowledge on Importations;Good in oral and written communication skills and knowledge in MS Office applications.
