PURCHASING STAFFTJ ENTERPRISES INC

· Ensures delivery of goods and services on time.
· Develops, explores, evaluates and communicates with existing and proposed suppliers to improve, expand market sources on procurements.
· Searches continuously for a better supply source employing progressive buying technique and methods in the evaluation of suppliers.
· Look for possible suppliers; local and abroad
· Monitors delivery status of items being processed and advises feedback to concerned requestor on expected delays or partial delivery.
· Handles communication with vendors as to discrepancy orders until fully resolved.
· Orders, expedites and follows-up transactions awarded/committed to suppliers ensuring delivery schedules are met and utilization of the items as required by requestors.
· Performs legwork in acquiring materials if deemed necessary.
Qualifications:
· Graduate of any 4-year course
· With at least 1 year experience in the same field
· Knowledge of purchasing practices, procedures and reference materials
· Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
· Ability to establish and maintain a good working relationship with vendors.
· Proficient in all computer software and applications particularly in Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
