PURCHASING OFFICER
 
JOB SUMMARY
 
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer who excels in procurement processes, Min-Max inventory management, supplier accreditation, and other SCM functions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices and favorable terms.
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and budgets.
Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand to ensure adequate stock levels without overstocking, applying SCM Procedures like Min-Max, etc.
Assess potential suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Maintain comprehensive procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements.
Generate regular reports on procurement activities, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and inventory management techniques.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to forge effective partnerships with suppliers.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
