Description * PURPOSE
The objective is to assist the purchasing team in providing purchase order in the most accurate way; check item specifications to avoid incorrect delivery of items. Sourcing outside existing supplier to buy items which are difficult to find. And do documentation and recording of items issued and received, for tracking purposes.
QUALIFICATIONS
>With Bachelor's degree
>With supply chain experience is an advantage
>Proficient in MS Office (e.g., Excel, Word)
>With exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
JOB DESCRIPTION
PURCHASE REQUEST/ JOB ORDER PROCESS
>In order to create a Purchase Order (P.O.) on time, with accurate details based on the request from internal customer, there must be a quotation from two or more suppliers for price comparison. Scan and verify items offered based on price and quality; evaluate suppliers ETD to come up with the decision as to whom do we award the P.O.
SOURCING OF CONSUMABLE ITEMS, TOOLS, AND EQUIPMENTS
>Find alternative provider (1) in order to purchase items which are not available to existing suppliers and (2) to have excellent vendors offering high quality products at a competitive price
RECORDING/ DOCUMENTATION
>Track and monitor purchases to ensure that there is no double ordering of items
>Maintain a detailed record to properly track poles and job order record
>Document returned purchase orders
DEPARTMENTAL RELATION
>Follow-up with Finance Department the supplier's collection, if necessary
>Clarify requests of departments to avoid wrong delivery of items
>Endorse items to warehouse
