PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primarily responsible for proactive planning and managing of off-shore and local parts purchases. Ensures timely delivery of parts shipments. Also responsible for ensuring timely processing of shipment claims within the standard turn-around-time.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: * Pro-actively plans parts purchases to ensure parts availability at all times.
1. Thoroughly review prices of parts purchased.
2. Closely monitors credit memo to ensure timely processing.
3. Monitors closely all payables of dealers to ensure timely collection of payment.
4. Monitors closely all payables to suppliers to ensure timely processing of payment.
5. Ensures monthly and annual budget on parts purchases are observed.
6. Ensures consistent implementation of the following timelines of emergency orders and stocking of orders:
- EMERGENCY ORDER - within 25 calendar days
- STOCKING ORDERS - within 45 calendar days
7. Establishes a standard number of local suppliers compliant to ISO standards and UAAGI Finance requirements.
8. Maintains competitive pricing of parts at all the time based on the local market price. Ensures consistent compliance with the standard price structure. Any adjustments must be approved by the Vice President for Spare Parts and should ensure that prices are kept with high confidentiality.
9. Ensures that the parts masterlist is maintained accurately and updated all the time with the correct data fields such as quantity, part number, part name, model application, and model.
10. Coordinates loosely with Impex Department and Logistics Department to ensure all parts shipments are properly documented and released/delivered timely.
11. Ensures that shipment claims for shortage and damages of parts are timely claimed and losses are fully recovered from the concerned supplier.
12. Ensures that the Dealer's credit memos on parts returns are processed timely.
13. Will be working hand-and-hand with the Parts Manager for warehouse to ensure minimum inventory variance is achieved.
14. Performs other tasks assigned by the VP for Spare parts or VP for Customer Service Division.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Business - Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
- At least 2 Year(s) of experience as Manaager/Supervisor in the same field.
- With atleast 7 years related experience
- Knowledge in vehicle parts
- Required Skill(s): Management skills, Leadership skills, Planning skills, Forecasting skills, Social skills, - Problem Solving and Decision-making skills
- Preferably Assistant Manager/Manager specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse -Management or equivalent.
- Must be knowledgeable on managing inventory and warehouse.
- Must be competent on Microsoft office application
- Must be able to effectively handle subordinates
- Willing to work in Clark, Pampanga
