PURCHASER
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the procurement of all materials and equipments from order to delivery onsite
Responsible to coordinate onsite delivery for all materials through third party freight forwarder or inhouse truck/driver
Review all quoting documents including instructions to quote, specifications, drawings and BOQ
Handle all queries received from the tenderers and ensure providing clear reply to be circulated to all tenderers
Preparing the comparison sheets between suppliers in accordance with pre-estimate & benchmark prices
Negotiating the prices with suppliers to get the maximum cost saving and best contract conditions
Weekly update of the procurement report to show the progress of work and discuss during the weekly meeting
Weekly update of the payment tracking log in order to track the payments and avoid any delay in the cycle of signatures
All other duties and responsibilities which are not limited to this that may be assigned to you by the management
Qualifications:
Should have a Bachelor's degree (an Engineering degree is an advantage but not necessary)
Proven experience as a Purchaser or relevant role
With knowledge in procurement and electrical construction suppliersWith experience in international purchases
Fast learner, willing to learn and with good initiative
Can work independently or with others in a team
Must have excellent communication and negotiation skills
Can multi-task, prioritize and deadline conscious
Can work with minimal supervision
