Job Title: PS Consultant - Reporting

Job Description
Professional Services Consultants provide technical expertise for Genesys solution implementations using the analytics and reporting suite of products in both Genesys Engage (Premise and Cloud) and Genesys Cloud platforms. Activities includes customer discovery sessions, solution design, software installation and configuration, functional and integration testing, technical documentation, and knowledge transfer to the customer and other project stakeholders.
The successful candidate will report to the Professional Services Manager based in Manila and will work closely with the implementation teams around the world to transform customer requirements into implemented software solutions while leveraging our core product technology under the leadership of assigned Project Manager(s) responsible for the outcome of each individual customer engagement. The goal of the role is to always provide the best customer experience for our customers and partners.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the role include (but are not limited to):
Enabling the successful software implementation and configuration of the Genesys Analytics and Reporting software products and solutions by performing tasks such as to:
Design, develop, deploy, customize, and test SAP Business Objects universes and/or MicroStrategy Projects, as they pertain to Genesys contact center management, with data sources which might include MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres, and DB2 databases.
Design, develop, deploy, customize, and test Pulse Realtime monitoring applications.
Develop reports using WEBI, MicroStrategy, and Crystal Reports.
Interface with external customers to discuss, determine, and document business requirements and technical design specifications.
Guide the customer to appropriate solutions by discussing the value of existing application features, functionalities, and capabilities.
Own the successful architecting of reporting solutions while leveraging their background in design, development, and deployment of applications and custom reporting solutions to meet the customer's needs.
Provide support for escalation and technical issues from the Genesys Customer Care team.
Operating in agile, waterfall, and hybrid project methodologies.
Following project change management protocols and customer security guidelines.
Performing knowledge transfer of the delivered solutions at the conclusion of the engagement as necessary.
The ability to have a flexible work schedule and at times working outside your normal business hours to accommodate effective communications with stakeholders in the Global organization.
Providing timely progress reports on the project deliverables to the appropriate Project Managers and senior members of the technical staff.

Technical / Functional Requirements
Ability to understand technical documentation such as system architecture diagrams, rework instructions, acceptance, and test procedures.
Ability to understand and diagnose complex data structures and to learn and work with new database technologies.
1-3 years experience installing applications in Windows, UNIX, AIX, Linux, and Solaris environments.
1-3 years experience with container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, AWS, and Azure.
1-3 years experience with SAP Business Objects, MicroStrategy, or any similar reporting platform.
3-5 years experience developing reporting applications.
Proficiency in writing SQL scripts and stored procedures.
Proficiency in MS SQL Server, Postgres, DB2, and Oracle.
Proficiency with third-party products and tools like Linux, Microsoft Server, virtualization, databases, switches, interfaces, and others).
Experience in MicroStrategy and Crystal Report development is a plus.
Experience / Job Requirements
BS/BA degree in Computer Science, IT, or the related industry experience with a technology company.
3-5 years working in an enterprise software development/implementation environment.
Optional (Definite Plus)
Practical experience working with or deploying Genesys technologies is a big plus.
Practical experience with some of the best Consulting Services/Project Delivery practices employed in the industry among leading consulting organizations.
Experience with the following:
Call Center operations and management with related reporting tools and metrics.
SAP Business Objects / MicroStrategy Reporting tools and platform administration.
Application Server configuration and administration.
Apache web server configuration skills (Rever proxies, Tomcat, IIS, and others).
