Job Descriptions:
Act as Lead Accountant for quarterly count of property, equipment and machinery for all Branches, Department, Commissary and Warehouses.
Issues Asset Tag for all property, equipment and machineries located in all Branches, Department, Commissary and Warehouses.
Consolidates all company property, equipment, machineries for preparation and maintenance of lapsing schedule.
Monitors depreciation expense, accumulated depreciation, acquisition cost, useful life, fair market value and net book value of all company assets and proposes the necessary adjusting journal entries in the books for approval
Monitors disposal, transfer and acquisition of company assets and proposes adjusting journal entries to recognize gain or loss in the disposal and acquisition if it is thru "dacion en pago" or exchange of assets
Maintains and monitors the subsidiary ledger for Advance Rental to include rentals on Building, Common Areas, Parking Lots, Security Deposits, Construction Bonds, Insurances, Advance Amortizations of Motor Vehicle under Bank Financing etc.
Proposes Journal Entry for Advances to/from Suppliers, Advances to/from Affiliates, Advances to/from Customers (if any), Advances to Employees (ex. Uniforms subject for salary deduction), Cash Advances subject for Liquidation
Proposes Journal Entry for adjustments of Prepayments to Expense Accounts
Maintains the Construction In Progress account for all NHI expansion projects.
Proposes Journal Entry to amortize all capital expenditures based on the estimated payback period.
