To manage, coordinate and implement all the activities under the Project MOVEUP Ph in Mindanao
Specifically, to do the planning, managing, coordinating, and implementation of all the Disaster Risk Reduction, Resilient Livelihood, and Social Protection activities with partner Local Government Units and communities in Maguindanao covered municipalities and consortium partners
To take the lead in the implementation of Key Result of Action Against Hunger in selected Municipal and Barangays partners.
To implement FbF/AA, RRM, and DRR activities
Represent the Head of Project on project/program matters in the absence of HoP based on the line manager's instruction/request..
Key activities in your role will include
Objective 1: To act as the focal person in managing, coordinating, and implementing all activities to LGU and community partners specific to Action Against Hunger Results
Lead in the coordination of local partners (municipality and Barangay) and other shareholders and ensure timely implementation of the planned activities in coordination with the project teams and Consortium partner.
Lead in the implementation of Action Against Hunger result under the Project to assigned covered areas including DRR and livelihood components with close coordination with the DRR and Livelihood Specialists.
Support in the development and or review and conduct of capacity-building modules related to PCVA, Contingency Planning, BDRRM planning, Resilient livelihood; micro-insurance, and other technical training and orientations among LGUs and community partners.
Lead in facilitating the review of the Local DRRM Plans and ensure that Action Against Hunger sectors are integrated and adapted including Commodity Investment Plans
Coordination with consortium work FbF and EARLY/anticipatory action
Support Consortium level advocacy initiatives related to DRR and Climate Change and Resilient Livelihood aspects.
Any other task required to achieve the Project objective.
Objective 2: To prepare work plan, regular reports, and capitalization reports, and lead in consolidating documents at the provincial level
Prepare weekly and monthly plans and updates/progress report on achievements
Prepare the donor interim and final reports and submit following the Mission Reporting System
Develop and Maintain a database of Photos, Videos, and other multimedia documents related to the project
Contribute in preparing meeting minutes including Project team monthly meeting, DRR, and CCA training proceedings, and other reports
Assist in the capitalization of the experience in DRR and Resilient Livelihood activities of the project.
Prepare the fiscal management documents and forecast of expenditures
Objective 3: To organize/participate in seminars, conferences, and activities related to DRR and Climate Change Adaptation
Under proper authorization, represent Action Against Hunger and actively participate in DRR-related events in project areas or elsewhere.
Actively search for local capacities with the potential to give and add value to the project (NGO, institutions universities, etc.)
Do you meet the profile required criteria?
Good presentation, facilitation, and communication skills for different audiences, planning and organizing skills, training design, simulation design, and implementation
Should be able to work independently and with minimal supervision from the Operations Coordinator, DRR/CCA Referent, Technical Coordinator, and other relevant coordinators related to the Project.
Adept with the current state of DRR and CCA in the country.
Strong Project Management, facilitation skills on capacity building related to DRR and CCA
With knowledge of forecast-based financing, early warning, and early/anticipatory action as well as, local government processes
Experience of at least 5 years in a managing multistakeholder and consortium projects or similar position.
Strong experience in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management; capacity building and project management; resilient livelihoods and social protection
Experience in management in an insecure context with the capacity to face a stressful situation
At least 2 years of experience of work in (I) NGOs, LGUs, and NGAs
Proficient in both written and oral English (technical report writing), Demonstrated excellent capacity in technical report writing. knowledge of the local dialect
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs including Word Excel & PowerPoint.

Compensation: based on Action Against Hunger grid.
