Position: Project Manager
Number of hours : 20 hrs/week
Job duration: 1 month
Schedule: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm M-F NY
Tasks required:
Determine and define project scope and objectives
Identify business prospects and decision-makers in target markets
Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
Track project costs in order to meet budget
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
Maintain sales pipeline prospect status and set follow-up appointments via CRM system
Work strategically to carry out necessary plans in order to implement operational changes
Manage and accommodate all incoming vendors and suppliers
Answer client queries, take incoming projects, allocate jobs to freelancers
Deliver and communicate expected deliverables to clients
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Other ad hoc tasks that would be assigned
Requirements:
Proven work experience as Project Manager or other related experience
Has the ability to take on new projects as they come
Delegate tasks/projects accordingly
Excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates
Experience in B2B sales, project management and related field
Proven ability to solve problems creatively
Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
Excellent analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
Self-disciplined and organized; able to consistently hit daily and monthly targets with limited supervision
