Duties and Responsibilities:
• Winning in the market
Serve as a direct point of contact for clients and the team;
Speak to clients on a regular basis to stay up-to-date
Manage difficult client relationships;
Understand account management framework and assist in resolving engagement issues;
Develop and give clear and impactful presentations;
Understand complex technical and business concepts and relay simplified versions to clients
Be consistently proactive in managing client expectations; take initiatives in dealing with clients
Serve as a point person based on the application of prior learnings and engagement experiences
Familiarize with and understand service line and sub-service line offerings
Meet or exceed Advisory utilization targets as well as effective utilization targets
• People engagement
Put Associates in positions to excel through feedback, on-the-job coaching, delegating, challenging work, leveraging strengths and sharing experiences
Promote an inclusive work environment
Contribute to agenda and coordination of sub-service line, service-line or Firm-wide activities
Hold difficult performance discussions with Associates who need improvement
Foster the professional and personal growth of Associates
Timely address areas for personal development in attaining personal and Firm goals effectively

• Operational excellence:
Follow project management methods and take responsibility for part of the engagement economics
Anticipate and identify risks and escalate issues as appropriate
Monitor progress against plan or budget and update the team
Prepare time and expense reports in a timely manner using EY's Global Time and Expense System
Identify issues, obstacles and risks and take necessary corrective actions
Maintain a well-balanced work relationship between the team and the Manager
Avoid backlogs
