JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager (PM) reports directly to the Business Development Manager (BDM). It is directly responsible for the management, coordination, monitoring, and administration of resources of one or several Business Development Dept. (BDD) projects. It will also orchestrate the effective and harmonious team efforts of both internal BDD and various corporate support services units. The scope of work covers the entire breadth and depth of the project management technology, from project conceptualization and inception, process mapping, plans formulation and deliberations, project execution, monitoring, evaluation, and project viability adjustments, based on the directions and priorities of the BDM and Top Management.
KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identification, collection, organization, analysis, and synthesis of data/information needed in the formulation of on-going and proposed business project plans, concerns, and issues.
• Conduct of research work, feasibility studies, market/industry surveys, customer satisfaction and feedback data analysis, financial analysis, and the like, as inputs for the development of busines development plans and processes.
• Communication and coordination with the managers/supervisors and staff of the different units and work teams of the Company to facilitate the achievement of project goals and processes.
• Liaison, negotiation, and representation with various external staff and institutions, communities, professional and industry associations/orgs, and other groups (public and private), as required in the achievement of project objectives or as requested by the BDM.
• Overseeing, monitoring, and assessing the different stages of project implementation and feasibility testing of new or current projects, processes, and facilities, as directed by the BDM.
• Ideating and creating different perspectives on potential project opportunities or improvements in the Company's products, services, and/or operations and proposing the same to the BDM or to higher management.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial/Management Engineering,
• Finance, Economics or other related science courses
• Preferably with MBA, or is pursuing a master's degree in business or industrial mgt
• An equivalent of the above in working experience is also acceptable
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Minimum of five (5) years of business project management experience with, at least, two (2) years in a leadership role.
• The candidate should have, at least, two (2) years of working experience in a corporate strategy position within a dynamic business environment, preferably as technical support staff in the Business Development, Infrastructure Management, or the Corporate Planning/Strategy Unit.
