Description
PURPOSE:
The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, management and coordination of the software project team. Ensure the management of multiple projects within scope, quality and time in order to deliver business value. The role will work across various teams and with other international offices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conduct data gathering on project requirements
• Plan, identify workload, estimate, and determine resource and capacity
• Communicate with management for priorities based on business value
• Perform daily scrum updates, delegate tasks, oversee the execution of the projects, and ensure all tasks are done as per schedule
• Monitor progress of projects, and handle/resolve any issues that arise
• Review the quality of work completed by the project team, and ensure it meets the project standard
• Facilitate sprint with the project team and document recommendations and areas for quality improvement
• Provide report on project status to product owners and other managers within the organization
• Able to manage several projects simultaneously
• Help improve processes to increase overall efficiency across the organization
• Coordinates project assignments to offshore team
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a full-lifecycle Project Manager
• Preferably with work experience in a software development company for at least 1 year
• Proven track record of success in handling multiple projects
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• People management skills is a must
• Proficiency in Microsoft products
• Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure
• Highly adaptive, flexible, and a team player
• Ability to work across different cultures
