Job Description
The Project Manager manages a diverse range of Logistics CAPEX Initiatives and Projects. The management of projects, typically (but not exclusively) involving the development and implementation of business processes to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality.
The role is also responsible for the planning, management, and delivery of new capabilities and system enhancements and delivering these in accordance with the approved project scope and consistent with Pilmico's Project Management Methodology (PPMM).
This is a role that requires the individual to be a strong team player as it requires working with the different Pilmico departments to achieve the proposed set of objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
PROJECT PLANNING
Plans, budgets, oversees and documents all aspects of all logistics related projects;
Prepares all project kick off documents, planned budget, timelines, risk management plans, etc.;
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Identify resources needed and ensure availability and allocation to complete the project
Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
MONITORING AND CONTROL
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Monitor project status and measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
CHANGE MANAGEMENT
Ensures projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage
Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support the adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications.
Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.
Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified;
Professional membership or certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
