Position Overview
The Project Lead will be instrumental in ensuring success of managed operations team in Manila. The expectation is high. The PL should be able to navigate the Matrix leadership environment and resolve paradoxical issues in accordance with Insight's policy and global operation needs. He/she should exude a degree of influence among its peers and team members. Situational leadership acumen should be exhibited by this individual.
What you'll do at Insight
Handle the day-to-day operations support requirement of the Managed Operations Manila.
Should be able to communicate openly to internal customers and resolve their issues with utmost diligence.
Serve as a catalyst for alignment by providing management support to offshore leaders, ensuring that their Manila teams' operation runs smoothly.
Receives and intake all operations issues. Coordinate and prioritized the issues accordingly for resolution and updates.
Proactively engage other local support operation's teams (HR, Admin, recruitment) to ensure that Managed operations issues are being handled. Make necessary follow ups for meeting the agreed upon resolution time.
Engage Manila teammates thru various talent development programs in place.
Create and maintain reports as assigned by management.
Create meetings and do meeting notes for attendees' perusal.
Participate or lead on projects as assigned.
Work with local team leaders in ensuring local policies are being upheld by each teammate.
Work with local team leaders in maintaining report on operations metrics.
Assist with onboarding Global Solutions teammates.
Other duties and tasks as assigned.
What you will need to join Insight
4 years bachelor's degree holder in business, management, and other related studies.
At least 4 years of combined experience, coordinating, administrative and leading/managing support functions.
Experience in leadership of an IT operations or shared services environment is desirable.
Proven client experience management and project management experience is a plus.
Ability to enter data into systems accurately, required.
Process reports and be able to produce sound analytics. Present and justify data.
Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English.
Must have the ability to multitask with strong organization and time management skills.
Must be able to respond effectively by email to inquiries or complaints within a timely fashion.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
ITIL certification is desired but not required.
Knowledge in Cisco queue management or other telephony systems is desired but not required.
