Job Description:
Responsible for planning and overseeing a wide range of projects from beginning to completion of the project. This includes Schedule daily to weekly activities of the construction site in accordance to the target date of completion and coordinate with Project Engineers and General Foreman for changes and additional work. Manage activities and ensure that all work is timely finish and quality of works being done in the project.
Responsible for the preparation of reports/updates to the Management in relation to the progress of the project.Monitoring materials, equipment, and manpower needed on site and coordinate with Purchasing for the procurement of construction materials and schedule of suppliers.
Communicate properly with the construction team and the contractor, pertaining to works and plans that must be addressed and attended to.
Supervise day-to-day operation of all construction site activities and must cover all scopes of works but not limited to civil, structural, form, masonry, and carpentry works.
Coordinate regularly with the Site Relations Office concerning all activities and situations in the construction site. This includes Attend client meetings and conferences as a representative or a delegate on behalf of Dream Riser Builders Inc.
Practice control of minor to major risks in the activities done in the construction site and endorse it to the Management and relay cost-efficient methods in the daily activities in the construction site.
Create Gantt Charts, weather forecast mapping, and other construction-related charts and plans for the daily operations in the construction site.
Satisfy legal documents and other requirements imposed the by the local government, especially if the location of the construction site is in their jurisdiction.
Promote and practice safety procedures imposed by the OSHA. DOLE, and PSA, and safety handling of materials and equipment in the construction site.
Formulate policies in the construction site in accordance to the company's rules and regulations, and apply disciplinary actions if necessary.
Assigned tasks may extend beyond the abovementioned job description from time to time.
Qualification:
Must be graduate of BS in Civil Engineering.
2 years of experience relevant to the position
2 years working experience as Project in-Charge or coordination gained from a construction industry.
Ability to work independently and can do multitask.
Good leadership skills, time management, trustworthiness.
Licensed is not required but it's an advantage.
Must have proven experience in structural works or constructing buildings from ground to finish.
