Job Specification:
Accounts Payable Monitoring
1. Reviews and finalizes the summary of APVs for submission to Treasury.
2. Receives the processed APV's from Treasury with the corresponding attached official receipts and Invoices for scanning and monitoring.
3. Forwards the documents to Internal Audit scanning and monitoring.
4. Ensures that the documents processed are under the name of the JV and maintain a copy of the Documents intact for future reference for audit purposes, if any.
Tax Compliance
5. Prepares the withholding tax and input VAT Report monthly (with vendor details) for submission to JV
JV consolidator based on checks prepared .
6. Prepares the 2307 forms for the checks released for JV.
7. Monitors the transactions withholding and VAT, and informs UBI Compliance Supervisor for any adjustment, if any.
8. Prepares the payment request for all taxes due for payment.
Financial Recording and Analysis
9. Prepares the monthly reports and analysis (P&L, Budget Variance) of the SUTJV Project.
10. Handles the bank reconciliation of the Bank Account for JV handled by UBI.
11. Monitors all transactions recorded under JV and report for any abnormal balance noted.
12. Reconciliation of all accounts monthly.
Work Ethics
13. Assists and provides whatever support necessary direct supervisor;
14. Ensures the Company complies with all tax returns, permits and licenses due before deadlines;
15. Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Qualifications:
1. Must be a graduate of course related to Accounting major, e.g. BS Accountancy, BS Accounting
Technology, BS Management Accounting
2. Preferably with at least two (2) years work related experience in handling books of accounts,
recording and analysis;
3. Proficient in MS Office applications (excel , word and powerpoint);
4. Must have a high level of professionalism and integrity;
5. Keen attention to details
6. Ability to meet deadlines
7. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
