An international Fire Protection and Security company soon to commence operation on a project in the Philippines is currently looking for experienced, highly-motivated and career-minded persons to fill the position of:
 
PROJECT ENGINEERS
 
Responsibilities:
Supervises the construction staff: provides general direction and assistance with planning, scheduling and implementation of all construction/upgrading projects, including the management of all project budgets.
Oversees the implementation of work packages, from approval to work thru package closeout.
Prepares/reviews reports and forecasts, including summary of construction progress, material, equipment and job manpower forecasts.
Monitors the activities of works to ensure compliance with specifications and procedures.
Ensures all safety codes, requirements and standards are being complied within assigned area of responsibility.
Collaborate with the technical support team with regards to design and technical issues on site
Responsible for the implementation of corporate/project policies, procedures and instructions within assigned operations.
Ensure that as builts will be done efficiently and accurately.
Anticipates potential problem areas and analyzes and recommends solutions or corrective actions.
Performs other duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
3 - 5 year relevant experience in Industrial Control, Instrumentation and Piping Projects
Preferably with Fire Protection Experience.
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
Licensed preferable
Exposed in multi-disciplined projects; understanding of other disciplines (Electrical, Instrumentation, Process, Structural, and Mechanical)
Strong critical thinking skills that may be applied to the pro-active project completion
Effective writing and interpersonal communication skills
Computer literate in Microsoft Office Word, Excel Power Point and MS Project.
Knowledge of AutoCAD would be an added advantage.
Must possess a high level of energy, with excellent team leadership skills and be willing to work extended hours as and when necessary.
Excellent communication, listening, interpersonal and project management skills.
Superior organizational, planning and time management skills.
Be willing to travel and work remotely outside of Metro Manila
