PROJECT ENGINEER
 
Qualifications:
Preferably a licensed Civil Engineer/Architect.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in managing construction projects.
Proficient in handling site development, office and utility structures, complete fit-outs and office construction management.
Solid understanding of Architectural, Electrical, Structural, and Plumbing works.
Strong skills in monitoring construction project budgets and meeting deadlines.
Proficient in using electronic project management and record-keeping systems.
Proven experience in providing detailed instructions to on-site construction teams.
Knowledge of industry standards relevant to the construction field.
Strong leadership and motivational skills to ensure high performance across teams.
Proficient in project management software, especially Microsoft Project, with a solid grasp of scheduling and estimation processes.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, execution, and successful implementation of construction projects.
Develop both long-term and short-term project plans, set milestones, and ensure strict adherence to deadlines.
Delegate project tasks effectively to employees, ensuring the right personnel handle specific tasks.
Act as the main contact for multiple teams, ensuring that all team efforts are aligned and synergistic.
Ensure compliance with construction checklists and monitor construction processes.
Manage both repair and preventive maintenance tasks for projects.
Stay updated on project progress and issues to ensure smooth operation.
Prepare detailed end-of-project reports, providing validation and summary of the work completed.
Ensures that an effective site safety and health program is being implemented for the project in accordance with the stipulations of the Occupational Safety and Health Standards of the Department of Labor and Employment.
Monitor the project updates, utilization, implementation and technical consultants engaged on client assignments.
