Job Summary: This role supports the Project Manager in planning, executing, and overseeing engineering and construction projects. It contributes to the growth of the Feeds Business by facilitating new facility development, integrating advanced process technologies, and supporting product rollouts. Under the guidance of site managers, the Project Engineer ensures timely, cost-effective, and compliant project delivery.Key Responsibilities:Pre-Construction Support
Plan and coordinate contractor activities
Monitor progress and prepare compliance reports
Consolidate documentation for management review
Construction Oversight
Manage equipment inventory, asset tagging, and spare parts
Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to specs, timelines, and safety standards
Commissioning & Turnover
Collaborate during installation and testing
Inspect completed facilities and support initial operations
Compile final documentation and as-built plans
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure all activities comply with national/local laws and engineering standards
Strategic Project Management
Track timelines and budgets
Coordinate with stakeholders
Conduct audits and provide recommendations aligned with SMFI and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
Licensed Electrical Engineer with at least 1 year of experience in project management or construction
Proficient in SAP, AutoCAD, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong leadership, analytical, and coordination skills
Familiar with construction regulations, engineering documentation, and inspection protocols
