Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares bills and schedules of quantities of materials, labor and services required in the construction and equipment of building or engineering works.
Preparation of specifications when required to do so
Conducts detailed survey and stakeout of the project area.
Undertaking costs analysis for repair and maintenance project work
Monitors various phases/activities of the project and ensures that the project/s runs according to schedule, plans and specifications.
Monitors and documents progress of every project and all activities regularly.
Ensures safety at the project site compliance of PPE, Safety and Housekeeping Standard.
Checks and ensures quality in all standards of work and materials.
Monitor all resources materials/supplies, equipment and manpower assignment and utilization.
Implements and monitors project schedules and targets.
Acts on incidents within the project in accordance to prescribed standards and policies of the company and stakeholders. Promptly reports all incidents to superior and documents accordingly.
Handles project close-out activities such as testing, commissioning and rectifications works.
Perform work related duties that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
Graduate of Engineering (Civil). Board Passer: Licensed Civil Engineer.
With at least 3-5 years work related experience in civil works, structural and horizontal constructions.
With experience handling either of the following projects: road construction, installation of streetlights, solar stud studs, application of thermoplastic paint
Must possess the following skills: Technical, , Decision Making, Leadership, Customer Service, Time-Management and Communication Skills
With good working knowledge in the use of MS Excel and MS Project, AUTOCAD
With excellent understanding of construction methods and Materials
Knows how to make cost estimate, analysis, and prepare BOQ/Mother P.O
